We, The Georgia Korea Fellowship and Korean Christian Council in America believe it is an appropriate time to call upon the National Leaders of two nations to come together in a joint intercessory prayer session for these two nations who share a special relationship, history, and destiny during a season where we remember the events of the 67th Anniversary of Korean War. A special relationship between the US and Korea has been forged by a bond sealed in blood.

First, the blood shed by many American missionaries in shamanistic Korea since mid 1800’s, brought spiritual awakenings to Korea and contributed to the unprecedented growth of Christianity in the modern history of the world.

Second, the blood shed by no less than 55,000 American soldiers and the Korean soldiers in the Korean War and the Vietnam War forged an enduring brotherhood and friendship between the two nations. Korea is one of only two nations which have always been faithful to USA (the other one is the State of Israel).

Third, the decades-long presence of American soldiers on Korean soil has resulted in an intertwining and inseparable relationship between the two nations.

This very special relationship between the US and Korea is being seriously threatened by the recent developments both in the US and Korea domestically and internationally. The election of President Trump, the impeachment and removal of former South Korean President Park Geun-hye, along with continuing missile and nuclear threats from North Korea, the belligerent behavior of the Peoples Republic of China in the South China Sea, as well as the constant occurrences and threats of terrorism around the globe, compel these two nations to cooperate with each other more than ever before. We believe that it is times such as these where the call for the national leaders of both nations to gather together to pray and seek God’s face is urgent and necessary.

By the grace of God, Special Envoy of Korean President Moon Jae-in, Dr. Hong, Seok Hyun (former Korean Ambassador to US) met President Donald Trump and other high-ranked officials of the US and strengthened two nations alliance. He is the International Chairman of Georgia Korea Fellowship which holds this historical Prayer Summit. Honorable Pastor Paula contributed tremendously on this Dr. Hong's meeting with President Trump. Please R.S.V.P. and join us at this special National Prayer Summit.

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal the land” II Chronicles 7:14

“How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity.” Psalm 133:1

Sincerely Yours,
